Daily Aspirin Risks
Health Update jcox Tuesday 31 July 2007 - 11:46:54

For some time now the medical community has advised patients to take a daily aspirin to ward off heart attacks.  While this may seem to be good advise (after all, who wants a heart attack?) most patients are unaware of the risks of doing so.  Aspirin has been shown to posses many dangerous side effects, including :hemorrhagic stroke, gastrointestinal bleeding, excessive bleeding, ulcer, gastritis, and sudden death.  In addition to all of this, recent studies have shown that daily aspirin can also raise the risk of degenerative eye diseases such as macular degeneration and cataracts.  However, there is hope for those who want the heart protection offered by aspirin without the risk.  Here at Cox Family Chiropractic, we carry several whole food supplements which possess the same cardiovascular advantages.  These supplements include, Tuna Omega-3 oil, Mintran, and Cataplex E.  To see which of these best suits you, please call and schedual an appointment with our Doctor.
