 Lobelia
Lobelia inflata

Lobelia is an herb most commonly used to treat asthma, bronchitis, coughing, and other respiratory ailments.  It is an attractive annual whose leaves and seeds are used for medicinal purposes.  Lobelia primarily acts to aid the body in clearing mucus from the respiratory track (i.e. lungs, throat, and bronchial tubes).  In higher doses it can also act as a powerful purgative.  Because of the potency of this herb there exist certain contraindications for its usage.  The doctor will determine proper dosage and frequency of use.
Here at Cox Family Chiropractic we carry only the highest quality herbal products.  All herbal supplements are prescribed by the Doctor as part of a comprehensive protocal.  For more information, please call and set up a consultation visit.
